On Friday mom was supposed to go to Seattle to start treatment, however, the oncologist canceled it because of some new developments. With her biopsy, the results are making some of the doctors think that she has a different type of cancer. They are still unsure. So basically we are back to square one. The doctors, for obvious reasons, want to give her the right treatment so that is why Friday’s appointment was canceled. Hopefully, we will have a definitive answer to exactly what cancer and what treatments are going to be done in the next few days! But we just keep praying and waiting that this will all work out!
Although not having treatment on Friday was super good because Mom didn’t realize that she had a surprise visit coming her way that day!! All 4 brothers came to visit for the weekend, and she is just soaking it up!! She said one of her happiest memories is when she graduated from college and all her brothers came to support her. This trip meant a lot to her because again, they are all here to show their support for her! Big families are the best!!
